Pic o my injured duck(not graphic)

I took some pictures today after treating my duck. This is day 3 and he was not happy with me treating him.

His neck injury.

His chest injury were you can see the dark color under his feathers. I couldn't hold him and separate the feathers for you to see how deep it is.

Poor guy! I'm glad he survived. Looks like he's doing well to keep his own wound clean!

Poor little duck. I apparently missed the first post, I take it he was attacked by a dog? I sure hope he gets well soon.

I am using underwood's on it and it really helps keep the flies away. He will not let me put the baking powder on it though. 4 more days of antibiotics to get down him though. It is getting harder and harder for me to catch him now.

He was attacked by 3 dogs. I caught the dogs in the act. Another few minutes and I would not have saved him.

Could you try just catching him for some special treats? Maybe then he wouldn't be so hard when you have to catch him to doctor him up? He looks good.

FG, how is your duck doing? It's been a few days so I'm hoping he's feeling much better. Poor guy.

Hey FG, your duck is looking pretty good in spite of those nasty wounds.

Hope he continues to heal quickly.

Did those terrible neighbors of yours who owned the dogs offer you any compensation for the damage? Just curious.
