Life is just too darn short...

We have had another death in the family. Last night our goat passed away quite unexpectadly. Was perfectly healthy, happy, and herself in the morning, but found her dead and bloated when we went to feed her in the evening. Does anyone know what the life span of a goat typically is? She was a pygmy (big for her breed, tho). I'm not even sure how long we've had her -- it's been years. She would eat anything and everything and I am curious if she got into something that she shouldn't have, as there wasn't a mark on her. Sent her to our pet cemetery in the back woods for the coyotes to enjoy. I'm going to miss her; she was one unique soul.
