Yes it is. Her belly is huge and she looks like my pregnant mare from behind, lop sided. One minute she's fully round then it's flat on one side round on the other and the next it's flat on the other..... Oh and when my boarder's mom checked her out, since she's the one noticing these changes, they could feel movements.

How long is gestation anyway??

Isn't that a little young? Did you buy her from an auction?

I'd see if you could have her ultra sounded just in-case. Is she making an udder yet?

A healthy doe will have a big belly. They are ruminants, and essentially, big gas bags! An active rumen can often change the shape of the tummy...

Also to add to what Promise Ranch said, an active rumin can make you think you feel movement from a kid.

Goats are pregnant for 5 1/2 months or 145 to 155 days. Bucks usually become sexually mature by 4 months, whereas does are ready to mate by the age of 6 months.

Well since I know nothing of goats (except that they are cute), her belly seems to be just growing and growing. Maybe she's just REALLY WELL TAKEN CARE OF but she was with a big buck and he had been seen mounting her.

Can you guys show me some photos of your goats that are prego??

Wow, that is awful young for her to be having babies. You may need to help her have them if she is. Got any pictures?

If she was mounted by a big buck she is probally bred. What kind of goat is she? What kind of buck bred her? and when was she last exposed?

I can get some pics of my pregnant does... but youd be better off to just post pics of your doe. She is really young. Like someone said when was she breed? when did you get her?

Also were she was at before where all the goats together? I hope it wasnt her dad that breed her. People might have thought she was to young to be breed or something.

When I say something......I mean it.

This is of the day she got here. Looking at the photos now her belly is double that size . She was housed with a big boer.

If she's been caught then it happened just before I got her which is now been a month. If anything at the most she would be 2 months in.

I took these yesterday.

I cant tell from the pics if shes pregnant or not. But the people you got her from was she born at their place? Maybe shes actually older then they thought. As someone said on the thread she has alot of horn for that age. But we dont have that breed so Im not sure if there horns grow much faster. Id be a little worried if she was breed by a boer buck at 3 months of age.

Eh, I dont know. She just looks well fed to me.

If she were two months along, she should be starting to develop an udder. Stick your hand under there (she will probably kick and jump around) and see if you feel the beginnings of an udder, usually starts off as to what seems like swelling.

Also some people can tell their goats are bred by looking at their cha-chas Im not the best at it, but get a picture of her tail up and maybe I can give a guess!

I looked at the pics, and she is a lot bigger than when you got her.
If she was in with a buck, she is probably bred.
As stated by everyone else, those horns are way too big for her age. I would suspect she is closer to a year, or even over.

I would be concerned she is bred to a boer as well, she looks petite.

What I'm seeing in the new pics is a well fed and pretty little goat. I'm not seeing anything that would lead me to believe (just from looking) that she is pregnant. Especially the shot of her standing. She looks great!

My 9 month old buck looks much more pregnant than she does, and I can say, with some degree of certainty, that he is not pregnant...

Gestation is 5 months. You'll know soon!
