Goat feeding question
What is your favorite feed for goats? What would you suggest for a milk goat with 2 babies? We are having problems getting them to like anything other than sweet feed.
 They can't just eat candy.

I feed mine hay, but they have a "goat chow" at feed stores.

We feed our goats fitting rations and I also feed alfalfa pellets and cracked corn to my milkers. If you can get your hands on alfalfa hay (I couldn't) that might be cheaper than the pellets. You can also feed hole corn. I feed cracked because I also feed it to my birds.
Don't forget to give loose minerals and salt. I give it free choice.

Ours are on Nutrena Top Goat great for pregnant, lactacting does, and kids. It is however a sweet feed....
