Some Calves on the Farm

...Now that Im back on the farm...I have some many opportunities for great pictures....thought I would post a few of the babies on the farm.....

LOL, I keep picking one at our family farm (usually a brockle face heifer) naming it and then PCC's Dad feels obligated to keep her as a replacement heifer. I have 3 now...

You can't eat or sell a named calf -- keep naming them!

Theres one heifer calf hes keeping is the dark red calf in the last pic on the first post. Shes a dandy..so Ill name her LOL but the rest ...I dont name LOL

They look good Ginger! Don't they give you the funniest looks when you're laying on the ground half killing yourself to get good pics? Ah yes, gotta love it!

All of our calves get names when they are born. Three months later someone will ask me what is it's name, be darned if I can remember.

They must be some easy going cows. Mine would be up and gone had I tried to snap off a few pics.

Very nice pics of a beautiful herd.
