goat vacs prior to kidding

So i'm new to this kidding thing. Got a doe a coupe months back. Prior owners claimed they did their vacs in August (although you never can tell). Anywho if you have read my past threads she is "supposed" to be due beginning of November. I just recently read that does need to be vaccinated 3-4 weeks prior to kidding. If she is truely preggers my 3-4 week range is past can I still vaccinate with CD/T or do I wait until (or if) she kids? Or would she even need it again if she just had them in August? Help please my time fram is ticking away.

I vaccinate my does 4 to 6 weeks from their due date...or when they start to bag up which occurs on most of mine at about the same time.

The purpose of this vaccination is to have a passive transfer of antibodies from the doe to the kid(s).

So, if you miss the window, it's not a big deal for the doe, but you need to make sure you stick those babies with tetanus as soon as they hit the ground. The CD part will have to wait until they are 4 to 6 weeks old with a booster 6 weeks later.
