At first I thought Herman was really enjoying it, but then I realized he was just after the bucket, and being annoyed by the dogs.

You haven't lived until you watch a 1200 lb momma cow try to get back to her calf by jumping a 6' fence untouched from a stand still

Too funny! We had a few cows when I was a youngster, and I have to admit I did try riding Rudolph...once...just once. Landing in a cow pattie is a lot worse than landing in horse poop, believe me.

Hahaha it defiantly is unlike horse poo that drys fast cow patties crust on the outside and look solid but you step on one and you'll most likely slip often after a year there still soft in the inside

Has anyone seen the youtube video of a girl "barrel racing" with her steer?

I'm going to try to find it. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen!

EDIT-

Here it is!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=2-ePbMbkX_g

Make sure you watch till the end. He puts in a little extra speed off the turn from the third barrel; I loved it.

That's some real slow-mo barrel racing, for sure.

When my Mom was a kid they had a crippled cow on the farm that the kids used to ride. They couldn't control where it went, but they rode it.

That is cute lol... Mfriend Susette is always talking about how when they were kids they had a milking cow a gersey named Lill who they rode like a horse all the time and how she rod ein the town parade one year! To cool!
