Cool Is this what they mean by being a little uphill??? New picture added

OK I was having a good day -- I remembered to bring my camera but horse did not want to co-operate. I was trying to take a few pictures so I could submit them for a conformation critique, but here's what I got instead:

Sorry about the sideways head-shot -- I tried to turn the picture in photobucket and it won't save turned in the right direction. Guess he was too busy munching on the fresh green grass to square up and behave for a few minutes. Oh well-- there's always next time
BTW -- he's a 5 yr. old TWH.

LOL!!!!! thank you .
For a minute I actually thought that was one of my horses that's up for sale. I had to double check the feet for white.

My son said is that Raven? I had to check for the white too. Amazing how 3 of us on here have such simliar looking horses.

He is a handsome guy and of course the "up hill build" on him is very nice... Shows of his nice butt to a T....

No doubt about his breed. I'd be interested to see his pedigree if he's registered, he looks a lot like the pusher horse I was riding in my avatar pic. As for conformation, I'm no expert but I like the way he's built. From what I can see I bet he's a good smooth ride. Do you know if he has The Pusher CG anywhere in his bloodlines?

David -- he is registered, I just don't have his papers. Apparently, his registered name is "Hitman Cash", which doesn't tell me anything. He is not registered with the TWHBEA in the US, so I am assuming he is registered somewhere in the Canadian registry system. I haven't been able to get much help from them as to finding his papers either. Apparently, his previous owner now has the papers (had to get them replaced) but his wife needs to sign them as well. One day . . . . . . . .
And -- yes, he is a smooth ride. He's also the first gaited horse I have ridden & owned, so a lot of what I do with him is a learning process for both of us!

Lady dumpling -- technically, his halter colour is "raspberry" but it is certainly a shade of pink!! I have ordered him a brand new LIME GREEN one to wear as well.

David -- I just got his papers -- He doesn't have The Pusher CG in his pedigree, but it only goes back 4 generations. I don't know much about the TWH bloodlines -- he has Pride of Midnight several times on his dam's side and also 3 times on his sire's side. He also has Prides Generator and Pride's Gold Coin on Sire's side and several other WGC's including Coin's Hard Cash, Midnight Sun H.F. and Delight Bumin Around. Now that I have his papers, I have to register him in my name. Any ideas on his breeding -- good/bad or otherwise?
Thanks!
Dawn

That would be my horse as well -- there's no creek, but if there is mud, you can be sure he is in it!!

The bloodlines he has are excellant. Go to walkerswest.com they have great info on several of those horses. Midnight Sun was an awesome horse that won many WC. One of my walkers goes back to him several times and also Pride of Midnight, he is smooth as glass in his running walk. I'm going to sell though because he is so tall I have a hard time getting on him. Your boy is really beautiful, love that sweet face. Doncha love the walkers!!!!

He does have some excellent bloodlines but someone was breeding awful close bloodlines ( and yes they are both excellent bloodlines) so your horse has some $10,000.00 + breeding fees in his heritage. My uncle has a Pride's Generator Stud and if he is a good example of the line then they are excellent horses with a nice long gait and wonderful temperment that he has passed on without exception to everyone of his foals. He also produces hardy and well boned foals.

He does have an excellent temperment. He is a very people friendly horse, very curious and sometimes a bit of a goof. He's very smart as well -- not mean, but smart, so sometimes when it comes to remembering to latch the gate if we are taking out another horse it has to be done or he is out. He is also being a babysitter to a weanling right now because he is the only horse not chasig the poor little guy away. BTW-- my horse is only 5 -- a little young to be a babysitter type of guy, but he has the temperment for it! Besides that, he gets his very own round bale of hay and he is quite happy with that!! Thank you for the comments on his bloodlines/breeding. I know nothing about TWH bloodlines and it is great to know that he is well bred.
I have also sent an e-mail to his breeder to see if she can give me any info. about him. Apparently, he was shown in halter when he was a little younger and I would like to know about that as well.

Here's another photo -- I am thinking I need to give up trying to get conformation photos. He is posed rather nicely in this pic., however there's a haybale in the way. I am sensing a theme here -- he's a very food-motivated boy!!

I am going to give up getting the perfect conformation shots. Oh well, maybe one day I will be able to submit him to the forum for critiquing (sp?).
