The Princess Stallion

I was at the grocery store tonight and they had a big table with DVD's for sale cheap, although cheap may not be cheap enough . . . for a whopping $5, I could have had my very own copy of a movie called The Princess Stallion.

What the heck kind of title is that? Is it a white horse trained by Zigfried and Roy? Does he trot with a spring in his step? Does he neigh with a lisp? Does he love shopping for shoes? Is he looking to get married in Massachusetts?

Here's more about the movie, still not able to figure out how the stallion is a princess . . .

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0130964/

Funny title! We have a stallion we call a metrosexual. He is a prissy boy but I do not think that is what they were after with that movie.

Ohh Into the West was good.

But Lord of the Rings is, by far, my favorite horse movie(s). I got to meet Shadowfax at Equine Affair...that was cool. One of my best froms from elementry/middle school moved to New Zealand a few years before they filmed, and her Percheron cross Percy was Orlando Bloom's horse!

Also their was a grey Percheron in the movie(Lord of the rings) named Firefoot, my friend bought him last Summer, he is currently the star horse in Alaska!! He is the sweetest horse and when I say bombproof I mean it! Nothing can spook that horse we have tried EVERYTHING!

Sorry off topic,
Funny how many famous horses there are around HT! I love how in movies they always have a few different horses for each horse "role" so they don't lose their minds and we usually never notice. Like how some of the time the new Flicka was played by a gelding. Everyone wanted to use a filly and the head trainer was like "fine". After a day everyone wanted to use the gelding, lol! And Hildalgo and I never noticed the change in paint horses, I guess I'm not very observant. Has anyone seen that movie of Patches the wonder horse? He rides in a car, gets tucked into bed and fetches beers from the fridge for his owner...so cool. On youtube somewhere.

Yeah patches also goes through the mcdonalds drive through and eats burgers and frys(just goes to show mickey dees isn't real meat lol)

Did you know dont know how to spell his name so not going to bother lol but the guy who rode "hildalgo" in the movie actually bought the main horse that was for the part after they finished filming because he loved the horse so much

In this one ancient movie "Lightning the White Stallion" I swear I counted 7 different horses that didn't even look alike! It was a poorly made movie but absolutely HILARIOUS because of it. I.e. while the horse was cantering, you heard a two beat "clip, clop, clip, clop"
