Ugh, Free puppies are never free!

Had to take Leo AND Ricca to the vet this time! Ricca's thing with the rash, diarreah, vomiting, and a sore on the corner of her mouth was added in. Leo went from normal to pooping liquid bloody stuff in 5 hours, vomiting everything I tried to give him.

Took him in to the vet, told her about Ricca, left Leo there and came and got Ricca. Spent the afternoon there. Got out of it for only $153 for both because I have a friend that works there.

The squirts and vomiting were a mystery, got some antibiotics for everything else, Ricca got a skin scrape, the one rash was a skin infection, the sore on the corner of her mouth was Red Mange, the one they get when their immune system is weak from fighting something else. So she got ointments for that.

I'm about tired of vet trips, specially when the reason I go can't be diagnosed!

Every time, all poop tests have been negative. Nothing changed in diet. I watch everything they eat, hand walk them... no time to "free range" for stuff they shouldn't have.

I don't get it.

Will have to spay Ricca and not breed her if the Red Mange is a problem, it'll show a genetic immune system weakness. Better the breed after all. I'll have to try again on getting a female shepherd worth breeding.

What feed are you using? The has been a recent recall on some pet food for salmanila.

I second that. Those all sound like conditions that could be feed related.

Man it sure sounds like Parvo to me. But if they have been vaccinated and the tests came back negative, I guess it isn't . Poor things. Hope they are feeling better soon.
