GSD

Hi folks,
I'm new here, and I'd like you to meet my GSD Ruger. It was a monumental task, but instead of chasing horses, he is now a great trail buddy.

Wow!! Beautiful! We have a GSD and we love him to death! We wanted something to protect in the country and we ended up with the biggest goof ball you'd ever meet! In fact he looks a lot like yours, black body, sable/tan legs except short haired. Again beautiful dog!

Hi there from Kansas!
Ruger is a beautiful dog! It's funny the way the picture came up, right across from your avatar. It looks like the horse is looking over at Ruger, saying "hey what about me!"
Be sure to tell the horse that he is handsome too! Look forward to hearing more from you and all your "kids"!

Greetings from San Diego!

He is gorgeous! We used to have a GSD when I was a kid, but he ate my neighbors bird so we decided that he would be better in a home that had time for him.

He is really beautiful. I use to have a GSD when I was younger and hope to get another someday. They are very smart and loyal dogs.

Nicole - You have 6? Do you compete? I started doing the obedience thing and got his RN title, but then the dog started getting sour on obedience and he would blow me off in the ring. Not good. He passed OFA, and I've been toying with the idea of getting him a girlfriend, but I'm not sure I want those headaches. Try to figure out how to post pictures. I'm sure we would all love to see them

I also share life with a GSD - your boy is gorgeous. Mine chased the horses and then one chased him back. Now he's less interested in this passtime.

CSimmons, yes I am owned by 6 currently We have been active in GSD for about 16 yrs now. We train in the sport of Schutzhund, and have bred and raised a few K9 for southern police dept's. My older daughter is the obedience queen around here. She trained her first dog, a chiuhaua, in German commands because all the "Big Dogs" where trained like that

I will try to figure out how to post PICS, we have a ton of PICS on our website if anyone is interested...www.von-ziemer-kennel1.gotpetsonline.com

Thanks,
Nicole

Nicole, I got on your web site. I love your dogs. It's to bad you are half way across the country. (Or maybe it's a good thing). I would love to have one of those Oct. babies!
