She is adorable. Love to see a picture with her new collar. The little dogs get you every time. I used to be a big dog owner and now I have a yorkie poo, he is my baby.

She's wearing her pretty new red collar in the pics. I figured she'd look good in red. The Big Mr. and I were talking this morning how the weather is going to be getting cooler, I'll have to go sweater shopping for her. She has only a single hair coat, unlike my others. I wouldn't want her to get a chill.

She is presently curled up between the Big Mr.'s legs on the sofa taking yet another afternoon siesta. Yeah, I'd say she's pretty comfortable here.

She knew your heart the minute she saw you. How wonderful that she was able to finally get some rest and comfort. She must've been so scared!

Welcome home Bailey!

Mine isn't referred to as "The Home for Wayward Children" for nothing.

And the Bed and Breakfast sign above the front door is taken very seriously 'round here. Especially by any local strays.

Oh that's just Chicago Louie. He's not the welcoming committee, he's the security enforcer. He works in conjunction with Friar Tuck as the security alarm.

Thank goodness you picked her up before she got hit. Many years ago we were driving down the highway and saw a little Yorkie - we immediatley did a U turn but by the time we got to her she had been hit. We scooped her up and I called animal control the next day. She had not collar or tags either - but she was someone's beloved pet that had scooted out the door. The owner was very thankful that we had made the effort to pick her body up and take it to animal control - they were able to put and ending to searching for her.

I had also adopted out a Cairn Terrier to a couple who promplty lost her - I searched and searched - contacted animal control and told them even if they found her dead, to please let me know. Many months went by and I got a call - a lady had her collar - she had clearly slipped it going under a fence. Never found her.

Please call the local vets and animal control where you found her - she may have a family that is sick with worry and searching for her every day. Many people do not put collars on their dogs or microchip them (I do, but I know many that do not), especially if she is a house pet - she could have dashed out the front door or escaped from a yard.

Oh now that is one sweet pouchie!!! She is one lucky pup that you picked her up! i too woudl be wondering if such a sweet pouch has an owner looking for her with a broken heart! Perhaps making a few phone calls to your local vets, animal shelter and so forth just to report you found this doggie might be a wise idea!
