two of my furbabies

i'm a newbie, and i'm not a horse owner anymore (but hopefully will be soon again!!)

so, for now i will post pictures of my furbabies.

my golden is the 11th wonder of the world. he is one of the best dogs i have ever owned, and is loved by all. (and he in return seems to think everyone should love him. ) he is patient, kind, gentle, affectionate, loving, thankful, and he smiles. people who don't know him, thinks he is snarling at them when he meets them. when you do something simple for him, like putting the nightlight on so he can see his way downstairs, or take him out to go potty...he really is so thankful. explaining that to anyone that is not a dog or animal person...they look at me like i have 6 heads. anyhow, my baby is 7 now and starting to get gray. it seems like yesterday he was a ball of puppy fur with sweet puppy breath. *sigh* just talking about him tears me up.

and then there is my yorkie baby. she was the, 'we're not having anymore children, so lets get a small breed that we can snuggle'

HA! she is a spitfire! crack me up. we call her PING for a nickname. she literally pings off the walls...and SO athletic! she is dominate over my golden, which is no suprise...and she is TOO smart for her own good. she is VERY loyal to me, i am her person...and she is very good with my children. she will be 2 in january.

she is bigger than this now.

and the two in action

Your fur babies are sooooo cute. I love both of your dogs. I have a Yorkie Poo and he is a one person dog as well as being very energentic. Welcome to HT.

What sweet pictures! Got to love a little dog who thinks she's a big dog. And the fact that your golden lets her be dominant speaks volumes about his demeanor. I bet he was/is wonderful with your children, too.

Your babies are beautiful. The Yorkie is so cute.

I love goldens. We had a wonderful dark golden (about the color of yours) male named Jace. He got grey fairly young I thought, but lived to be 14 1/2.

We then got labs and a GSD, but I've already made up my mind. Next dog will be a golden.

thanks all! i love my four legged kids.

it is amazing to watch such a big dog play with the little ones....they do have a great time.

what i find funny, yet pathetic (stand up for yourself already!) is, my golden will be standing around, and the yorkie will be chewing on his paw, hanging off his ear...annoying the crapola out of him. he just STANDS there. the only thing that gets him moving is when she pulls oh his tail feathers or the feathers on his rear.

thanks for letting me share my babies. you all are so nice.

What precious furbabies! They both look well loved and obviously spoiled.

I have a mini Chihuahua...and yes, she rules the roost!
