Darn it all

Dear moron that "lost" or dumped your puppy during the Hurricane. I have him now. He screamed when I reached down to pick him up, cowering under a parked car in the rain. When I got him home he laid down with his for legs around the bowl and ate every kibble I would let him have. I need to start him slowly because he has been with out food a while, much longer then just being lost since Monday. I will be worming him today, no point of teaching him not to crap in the house until I get his digestive system back to normal..but he seemed to expect to be kicked when he saw that I found the poo, good job. This dog is smart and already expects the worst out of people, thank you it will make my job of re homing this guy so much easier. What could be better a ghetto bred pitbull puppy that is smart and has figured out that people can suck. Luckily, he is young enough and smart enough that he has a chance...more then you will have if you come asking for you pup back. How hard can it be to keep track of a puppy? I suggest you start with a plant.

k

Bless you... and a thousand curses on the head of the moron who abused and then dumped that poor baby...

We have gone through that with our own little rescue, "S'abella.. she still cowers at times when she is introduced to new things.. They broke her leg..

There is a special place in hades for those people.. I hope they all rot there..

That is so sad. I cannot believe how people can do that, it really breaks my heart. Thank you for picking him up and giving him a chance.

So sad all the dumping going on! My aunt lives in New Orleans and she had to evacuate her 2 dogs plus her neighbors out with her, because the neighbor just left him to whether the storm in the back yard. When she got back the neighbor said she could just keep the dog, he said it was hurricane season and he didn't have time to get the dog every time the weather turned bad. How sad!

Aww! Bless you for taking him in. I can't imagine what kind of person would abandon an animal, especially before an emergency. During the San Diego firestorm 2007, I didn't even pack a change of cloths, I just grabbed his papers and my ss card and birth certificate when I left with Rocket to evacuate.

That's so cute, the mailman fell in love with him! It's good that he found a home before you get attatched.

Me too! That is a great ending to an otherwise sickening story. Bless you for taking him in, there is a special place for you on the opposite end from those scumballs. You're a gem!

I am sure that person who dumped the puppy will pay sooner or later.
Perhaps he will have a massive headache for days and can not figure out why.
The bat gang is after him.
Good for the mail man and hugs to you for saving the poor puppy.

Well...

just when I thought the storm waif situation was all squared away...hubby brought me a litter of orphaned kitties. They are bout 3 weeks, eyes open but ears not quite all the way up, fat and healthy..no eye crud or skin problems

back to the feed store for kitty formula.

During Hurricane Lilly it was a baby flying squirrel

After Katrina we got a Ball Python...

I have a feeling that the reason the Bible doesn't have more stories about Mrs Noah was because she was very very busy.
