My dog is a bulldozer!!!

Some of you may remember I got meself a new dog...a 9 month old St. Bernard. Can't keep this guy out of anything or in anything! Axle, our 4 year old St. Bernard cross is also like that. We figured out how to fence places off to him...BUT Sammy, the new guy, has figured out how to go through or go OVER the fences. It's unbelievable. Eventually, he will be too big to fit through the in the fence...in the meantime we put chicken wire up to keep him from going through. NOW HE FIGURED OUT HOW TO CLIMB UP THE CHICKEN WIRE AND GO OVER THE FENCES!!! There is just no keeping him contained!!!

And trust me...the dogs usually have the run of the place...5 fenced acres to run around in...but there are a few times when we want them fenced up...and one place we want them kept out of...and that's our deck. We managed to figure out all the other dogs' modus operandi and out think them....but Sammy!!! He's out foxing us !!!!

Add an extra 3 feet of fence angled in at the top. My aunt had a dog that wouldn't stay in and this worked for her. I don't see how he could maneuver around that.

It's quite possible...his father was some HUGE mutt! Mother was a pure Saint!

And we just got Sammy (the Saint) a couple of weeks ago. His first week was spent fighting like crazy with Axle. Weren't sure we would be able to keep him. That's what makes these pictures very sweet!

Dont you know that chain link fences are for CLIMBING- I;ve seen many dogs climb one just to be one the other side- even though they can SEE the other side- silly puppies !
