I Found Lexi!! Update

My minpin Lexi turned up missing back in January while I was out of town for a funeral and I found her online at the pound a week later but she was already adopted and had left. I was one day too late!!

WELL....

I was browsing online (who knows why...I dont need another dog) and saw Lexi's picture! I knew it was her and called right away! I go pick her up at 1:00pm today!!!!!!! She has been returned by her adopters. Thanks goodness I still have all her paper work/shot records!!

If you microchip her make sure it is registered or otherwise it will be useless. Just ask the person who is microchiping your dog to make sure it is registered.

Update

Well, I went to the pound on my lunch break and was walking the isles of the pound and came to her kennel. My first thought was 'That's not Lexi, she's wayyyy to fat!' Our Lexi was about 10lbs and this dog was almost 20lbs!!!!! She was sitting the back corner scared as can be and was just staring at us. Then she lifted her head a little and my husband said "That is Lexi...there's the scar!" and I said really loud "LEXI!!!" out of excitment and as soon as I called her name she ran to the door of her kennel and starting jumping, crying, was just as happy as could be! So the guy that worked at the pound let her out and I picked her up....she was SO excited she started urinating and pooping everywhere! He said we had to fill out paperwork and show proof that she was our dog (as if her excitment wasn't enough) and then we could take her home today. When we were walking off she started howling and yelping like 'no, it's me...please don't leave me!!!!'

I was running late back to work so she is here with me now at my work upstairs in the kid room with the bosses kids playing (You HAVE to love my bosses....they are the best) WOW!! Missing since January...what are the odds!!!

oh, yes that is such a happy story. Your little dog must be thrilled to be home again to funny they got her fat, I have a little 10 lb, well should be 9 lb. dog too a jack russel and she gets fat real easy.

Like you said, what are the odds of finding your dog after all these months. And add the odds that she would be returned, and you saw her picture again.

The odds are so very high, that you and your little dog must have had some help from some higher power.

wonderfull, so wonderfull
