Good bye my sweet little Chocolate Diva

Ms. Hershee my Chocolate and tan doxie passed this morning. She turned 2 yesterday. She came down with pnuemonia on Tuesday. She was my little shadow. She will be sorely missed. But I know she is no longer suffering.

We had to put our beloved eleven year old Rott/Chow/Lab, Reggie, down this morning. It was doubly tough, because my son and I are out of state, so my wife had to deal with it by herself. She is keeping our son's little miniature dachsund while he is gone, so he is there to comfort her. He's a male version of your chocolate diva!

Sharing your loss, hoping for your comfort and consolation.

Blessings from the old bear!

Thank you for all your hugs and well wishes. It is a bitter sweet pill to swallow.
bear... hugs to you and your family. I am so sorry for your loss as well. Give your little choc baby a special hug for me.
We had talked to the vet and had made plans to end her suffering as well. God took care of that himself thankfully.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can't believe all the younger dogs that have passed in the last few weeks. I got a call from the Vet this afternoon and Riley's ashes are in. I will pick them up tomarrow. God must really want some great dogs to play with, because it seems like he is taking alot of them.

I'm so sorry. Take comfort in knowing that all the HT pups will be there to greet her, including my Marshall.

Thanks again for all your kind words. I agree it has been a rough patch here for the HT dogs. We have had more sad posts than I like to see. I am sure they are all together playing and running.
It sure was hard to come home today from work! she always met me at the door wagging her tail and whinning till I stopped and picked her up for her hugs and kisses. I was glad I had to go to my Aunts tonight, but then again there was the coming home. It sure is tough! Now I have to go to bed and that is going to be hard as well. She would always sleep between me and Ray. He always gets up first so she would sneek of the bed with him for a snack then back into bed with mom till it was officially time to get up.
Time sweet time is all that heals a broken heart!
Thanks again for lending me your shoulders.
