Coopers Conehead/battering ram

Well, Cooper has been attacked by fleas. We put advantage on him but he still chews at his butt. We took him to the vet and they said we need to keep a cone on him.

Cooper isn't the brightest lightbulb, so we got him a soft cone, something that will move if need be. He also uses it as a battering ram, he has already plowed over a few plants, the hamock, Rocket, myself, his best friend Jake (our black lab)...

It is hysterical watching him run around with it.

It's hard to play fetch with a conehead!

...Ew!

@*$&%!!

Aww, he's cute.

Now, the saddest part is him trying to get into the horses stalls. I try to get him to stay on the outside, but he flips out and barks. He's actually gotten it down how to get through there, he takes a running start.

Urgh!

I need to loose some weight!

Forget it.

Thwarted!

We have tried our best to keep him out of the water, but it's just not happening.

Playing Titanic.

He'll actually throw his toys in the water so he has to get them.

Gbar, the first time he went out to the horses with the cone on he came running over to me to get me to throw his toy...full speed hit the bars with his cone and flew about 10 feet backwards.

I felt so bad for laughing that hard.

Here's some more funny ones that finished uploading...

...Still...can't...FIT!

Mac also plays fetch with the toy!

The saddest thing is that in Cooper's darkest hour, his best friend Jake takes total advantage over him. Normally Cooper is a better fighter then jake and when they play he always wins, but now Jake can kick some butt at play fighting.

Figured out how to go around.

Almost didn't fit.

I am afraid I would have too.. since he wasn't hurt..

Labs to me are the comedians of the canine world.. no matter what, they are always so happy, and so floppy and full of goofy mannerisms..

He sure is a persistant little guy isn't he.. and just so adorably funny..

Oh man these dogs are just hysterical. I completely agree Gbar, labs are the dog comedians.

They both try to get into the truck at the same time when we take them out driving to go get hay...it's so funny because they both take a running start and headbutt eachother at the same time halfway into the truck.

And Jake is so fat and lazy that he hardly ever runs, but when he does it's very carousel, up and down...I need to get a video of it. It it so funny.

Poor guy! At least he is making the most of a bad situation! Just a friendly suggestion....I had issue with ticks a few years ago...and was ready to take them to the vet and have them dipped...they told me to buy the flea and tick shampoo....bathe them w/ it and let it sit for 10 minutes....then rinse it off. Said that was all they would do. I tried it and it seemed to work. I also use K-9 Advantix on my dogs and haven't had any issues w/ fleas on them and it seems to keep the ticks in control.

I bet he can't wait to get rid of that thing. I would have laughed at him though..sometimes its so hard not to laugh!
