Bumps on Chi's nose

This morning I notice three small hard bumps clustered together on my chi's nose, where the hair begins, forming a triangle. Tonight one is larger. Of course she doesn't want me to examine these. Anyone see anything like this?

The HT Doctors cannot examine your patient without pics, silly slim.
Is she scratching at them or rubbing her nose?

What kind of feed bowls does she eat out of?

The only thing I can think of off hand without pictures would be some sort of allergic reaction that hasn't come to a head yet.

Sometimes they react to the oils and such in the dog food that tend to collect around the inside rim of their feed bowls.

If they're hard I wouldn't suspect bug bites, though they could be. But then they'd be itchy and bothersome to her.

My great dane used to get pink (and possibly bumps...can't remember), and it was an allergy to plastic food dish...That's all I can think of. Good luck!

I'll try for some pics but it may take some doing as she thinks I want to pic her up when I try for pics. She does lick them quite a bit a lot more than just the occasional lick. I've wondered about allergies. I know some dogs react to soy in dog food. Not easy when I haven't had her very long.

My horse gets small bumps all over his face from gnat bites....I doubt they'd just be starting though if it were a reaction to bites.

....vaseline, lots of it, lasts 3 days

I'm just teasing you....I really have started to try your vaseline remedy!

It sounds like it could be an allergic reaction to a feed dish, you could start by switching to stainless steel if you are not using stainless already.

Sorry Slim -- I thought Chi was your horse. I see now you're referring to your dog.
