Oh Beez! I'm in love. Is the one in the first picture a male or female?

We have mostly females in the litter. The first blue one is a girl...

the red dog eating the stick is a boy, and the yellow on on the bottom fighting with his sister are the only two males

Well if you can figure out a way to get them..I will be happy to send them along.

Just please look into Catahoulas first, they are special cases at best. Considered a "primitive dog" psychologically you need to stay on top of training, and they occasionally need a foot up the bum. They can also climb, use their paws like hands, and sing in a great range of vocal expression; but that all said..I will always have them, best dogs in the world.

I absolutely love the first and 3rd ones, especially the 3rd one. Are they expensive to buy? I am on a puppy search and have not had much luck in any departments. Seems they are either all gone or a small fortune or a million miles south of nowhere.

Puppies! Oh man I love cataholuas.

Chloe is going to be turing one this dec. You arent kidding about them being 'special cases'. I love her more than anything; she is the most loyal girl ever. I really cant see myself owning a different breed since her. But she is the most onery, troublemaking girl I ever met too.

Unless you can constantly work them and have a firm hand cata's will take total advantage of you.

I really love that first one. She looks so pretty. Wheres the proud momma and daddy?

Are they mean? They seem like they would make a good farm dog. How are they with kids?

mamma and pappa...or Jolene and Dirty

The dogs range from 100-600$ for a finished working dog. Not an AKC breed, and yes I do live a million miles south of nowhere, heck nowhere is the big city where we all truck in to go shopping

And the brindle one isn't brindle all over, just brindle in patches...

previous litters...

Catahoulas are assertive not aggressive. So yes they can seem "mean" and they do think for themselves and can misinterpret things, so you have to be aware that you have a dog with you. Very protective and territorial, but not demented and will back of once they are told to.

Great with "their" children. I contain the dogs when other children come over, but I would do that no matter, horseplay can often be miss judged by dogs. Or male was teased by one of my husbands idiot friends when he was a pup, and to this day, he will not allow that person into the yard; never aggressive but he will stand in front of him barking and blocking his way until told otherwise

They are good farm dogs,..But, they play hard and may run livestock if not taught. They are used to work cattle and to hog hunt. They don't drive the cattle, they aggravate them by barking in their faces to get the cattle to chase them, Thus catahoula will run backward and act "shy" and wince (they used to be called coward dogs, or curs) but it is because of the way they work, many get mislabeled "abused" by people who don't understand this behavior.

registered working stock is very expensive and hard to find. I can't claim anything form my dogs, but that they are great hunting/camping/hiking dogs...and we are the only people in our neighborhood that has never been broken into I do practice agility with them, and the female loves to work cows and since she won't have to parent again we will be spending more time with this.
Yes, we do live in town and exercise the dogs with our bikes I have been known to tie them to the horse walker at work.

This is the very last litter. In fact mamma was supposed to be spayed after the last one, but life happened to interfere with my well laid plans. People locally don't appreciate them, and I am not comfortable shipping dogs to strangers.

They are so cute. I love all those patchy colors. Jolene's eyes are amazing! Do you breed and sell? Or did you breed for yourself? After how you described the breed I wouldn't want one, but they are way cool to look at.

Mommy didnt look to happy for her close up on her or the one with her pups nursing.. lol. they are cute. I like the 6th pic down from the first post you made. Camoflouges perfectly in with the ground leaves.. Cute puppies, but yes, you do have to be careful not to send them to some idiot who will end out breeding more unwants...be safe then sorry.

Good luck with her finale litter. Its good while it last, lol.

Yeah..I talk people out of them all the time

I did bred to sell as people who knew my dogs wanted them; but I am done with it. Too much work and no one appreciates them.

But just so you know the patchy color is dominate, you only need one copy..and it is popping up in all sorts of breed dachshunds, danes, chihuahuas, and I saw some merle pomeranians listed for sale the other day.
