How should I advertise these

Sadly it's that time for the puppies to find a loving home. I need to start advertising them. I have two litters. Toy poodles that are 6 weeks old and Maltipoos that are 5 weeks old.

I want to advertise them on HT. Should I use the free ad with no pics or do you think I should spend a little and include a pic? What do you think will help them sell? Money is tight right now and I can't afford to spend and spend as I have in the past.

Secondly I'm wondering if they should be grouped as one or have a separate ad for each litter seeing how they aren't the same breed.

To advertise in my local papers has cost me a fortune in the past with little to no success. I'm not sure if they would sell well this time of year with the starting of school and all.

Petfinder frowns on breeder raised dogs so I can't place them there. Got any suggestions? I'm not sure I'd be willing to ship. Never done that. I have a hard time trusting others with my precious cargo. Know what I mean.

So much for friendship. A pet shop owner/friend said she would take my maltipoo puppies before I even bred Minnie and now says she can't.

Another local pet shop brags that she sells only locally bred dogs told me mine are to small for her shop.

or that's the excuse she gave me.

If I remember correctly, HT pet ads come with 4 free photos so yes, do photos

I would make flyers with your pictures and post in tack shops and pet stores etc. Also do the online free ads, but make sure you say pickup only. They are SOOO cute!! If I didn't have 4 dogs already I would take one of your maltipoos off your hands!!

These are all great and where I advertise a lot of my pups (and they can be posted for free or at cost, depending on how you want to do it) and they all include pics!

If the toy poodles are AKC reg they have a breeders classified section. Not sure if it cost anything however I use it when I am looking for a show pup at times. Also www.infodog.com is the site for show secritaries for AKC shows and also has a breeders classified section. Again I do not know the cost but again I have used it when looking for breeders.
