My dad told me he heard on the radio that they've made a doggie chew toy in MV's image.

I heard that, too! I am shocked that this is the first time this has come up on here... I am a little embarrassed to be from Atlanta at this point...

Me too! But I am happy to say although not for Va that Mr. Vick resides in the state of Va. He only is suspended from playing for Atlanta. However I am sure he is still getting a paycheck.

Cascy, he is a football player, he played for the Atlanta Falcons, actually, he was the quarterback I think, and the only player worth his salt according to a lot of people... He got busted for dog fighting. Pit bulls. He and all his skanky friends are not worth the air they breathe (IMO!).

Seriously, ron, where did you find that shirt, and where can I order one? Vick's had it comin' for a while now, and even if he's not convicted (which I hope he will be), he'll never play for the Falcons again. But it's okay; Atlanta was better off sucking without him than winning with him. We'll find a new QB - God knows there's enough of them out there, haha.

He is nothing but a low class hood that has been in alot of trouble in the past couple of years, but the falcons always paid his way out. I think he finally went to far this time. Has lost all his endorsements, and no matter what I don't think he will wear a Falcons uniform, although that is not official YET.

One of the emails I got from HSUS

We Did It! Nike Drops Vick

I know you heard from me earlier today or yesterday, but I wanted you to be one of the first to know: Nike announced today that it has suspended Michael Vick's contract without pay and will stop selling all Vick-related products at its stores.

This is a big victory, one that simply would not have happened without your action and those of more than 165,000 others.
As you know, the allegations against Michael Vick are so serious and disturbing that The Humane Society of the United called on his corporate backers to end their commercial relationships with the star player. I’m so pleased that Nike has signaled it has a zero tolerance policy for athletes who may be involved with staged animal fights and other forms of malicious animal cruelty.

Nike's statement reads as follows:

“Nike has suspended Michael Vick’s contract without pay, and will not sell any more Michael Vick product at Nike owned retail at this time. As we’ve said before, Nike is concerned by the serious and highly disturbing allegations made against Michael Vick and we consider any cruelty to animals inhumane and abhorrent. However, we do believe that Michael Vick should be afforded the same due process as any citizen in the United States, therefore, we have not terminated our relationship.”

Also today, Reebok agreed to stop selling Michael Vick-branded products. The company does not have a contract with Vick but has an official relationship with the NFL to sell its merchandise.
Thank you again for all you do for animals.

WOW! I must live in a bubble. I haven't heard of this either. What scum!! I'm glad Reebok and Nike are standing their ground and will not tolerate animal cruelty.

I am pleased that he is losing his endorsements and hope he gets busted big time. We have pits and have tried to provide them with loving home and treat them in humane manner,we had to have one put down that my daughter recently got from a friend,he got loose and attacked her paint gelding-Apache isn't seriously hurt but she probably won't be able to ride him till spring because of the location of his injuries. Thank goodness they were around because Keesha was on her mare and the pony was there, and it could have been the 5 year old he attacked. We didn't know his history and what type of life he had before, but we couldn't take chance with him hurting another animal or someone's child. Then people wonder why pit bulls get bad rap when they are abused or taught to fight.
