prayer needed

I am so distressed and had only you guys to turn to.....my found puppy Dixie is making such wonderful progress, however my Rottie/Golden mix of 7 years is not doing well at all. on a trip for Dixie I brought along my sweet Mia as she was having some difficulty with her hind leg. turns out she has an aggressive form of cancer. I do not have the heart to have her put down. she is home with me, and I am keeping her comfortable...she is drinking water, but has no desire to eat at all. she is dropping body weight an her eyes look so sad. she is NOT crying in any pain.
I suppose I know that she will pass soon, she is such a wonderful dog.

please I am asking for everyone to say a prayer for my sweet sweet Mia. a place in my very soul will be empty when she leaves me.

it is so weird as Mia started to go ill only after Dixie started to turn the corner to make a recovery? i am asking God why and when will the tears stop in my heart.

Oh I am sooo sorry - perhaps God has sent you Dixie as a replacement to help fill the void and heal your heart...

I am so sorry that you are going through this. What a sad thing for Mia. You are in my prayers. Maybe she has been sick for a while, but she knows that Dixie is here for you now so she can let go?

I have to agree with Cassie. Mia feels that you are in good hands with Dixie so she will be able to let you go knowing that Dixie will comfort you.

I'm so sorry that you have to go through this!!

I agree, dogs sense many things we can't comprehend. The Lord knows the best for us, but alot of the time we don't agree. He will help you get through this along with Dixie. You are in my prayers, Kim

I am so sorry - it is so hard to face the leaving of a dear friend. I had a Sheltie who was with me through EVERYTHING - all of the hard times of my life. He had epilepsy and occassional seizures but he stayed with me through all the difficult times. When I met a wonderful man and was finally in a good life circumstance - he knew it and at only four years old that was when he let go of life. He died in my arms knowing he had seen me through to a better place. I think your sweet Mia is doing the same for you. You both are in my prayers - comfort and healing for you both and also praise to God that Dixie is recovering. I think God sees your tears and is crying with you too. ((((((HUGS))))) from Texas.

Mia has been well loved. The tears from your soul are a testament to that. There will not be a hole in your soul when she leaves, because she will always be a part of the soul of who you are.

I will pray for tender loving moments of sweet gentle goodbyes.

God gave you Dixie to help ease the loneliness. Your sweet sweet Mia does know this.

You, your sweet sweet Mia and your young blessing Dixie are all in our prayers.

(((Hugs))) May Mia's journey toward the rainbow bridge be without pain and may she carry your love within her as she prepares to go.

(((HUGS)))) from Indiana-sorry for this terrible circumstance. Unforunately, you have a dog that is a mix of the two breeds most likely to have the disease. Thoughts and prayers to you!

That was my first thought as well. God knew before you did that Mia was ill and He sent you Dixie to help you through it.
