Wink My new halter dog!

I got a new dog. I had wanted one for an inside dog for along time. I got him for free from the animal protection league. His owner was an old woman and she is in a nursing home, hes only a year old. (Hes a rat terrier)

He reminds me of a halter horse...

hes just a little dog. He stands about a foot tall. Hes real beefy though. Hes my halter dog. My son named him Charlie Bucket like on Willy Wonka.

So here are some pics of Charlie. He sits, lays down, stays, fetches, and comes and tells me when he needs out. (best of all, a free dog)
So do you think he could win some halter shows? He likes to play with his toys, and likes the cats. He loves water, and really wants to catch a squirrel

Hes actually a rat terrier, they are very similar. Only rats arent yappers, and they get along with cats and stuff, for the most part.

I like it when he pants, he looks like hes smiling, almost like a jester.

What a cutie - friends of ours have that breed of dog, and they are awesome pets. Congratulations on your new canine friend, and hello Charlie...

He looks like the dog from the Mighty Dog commercial...what muscles on such a lil' frame. Definetly Impressive bred...LOL. Did you check to see if he was N/N? Sorry, couldn't resist. My fingers (tounge) got away from me...Congradulations Charlie on getting a good home!!!!

Very nice! To bad you can't track down the original owner and Charlie could pay her a visit. I know it would kill me to leave my beloved pets behind. I hope I never have to go into a nursing home. That would be a cruel fate worse then death.

I can see his smile too! One happy healthy halter dog.

I'm going to try and track the woman down that owned him. I'll let you know if I have any luck.

Looks like the country life is perfect for him !! He might thin out from being so active. Beautiful dog, glad he is a rescue, I believe in that.
