For all Pit owners

Some of you may have seen this already, but I think it's worth watching more than once. I thought for a minute someone had one of my pictures in here. If you look at the second dog, it looks just like my Jake.

Here's my trio staying warm by the wood stove on a winter day.

Here's the video

Thank you , I have not seen it, we have a pit named Pinky that we adopted almost 12yrs ago from the shelter and we love her to death, she is the sweetest, most loving dog I have ever met.

She loves kids and I would trust her more than any dog I have ever met.

She's getting up ther in age and doesn't have too much energy these days but she follows me wherever I go from morning to night, with some naps in between!

That was very nice. I agree it's not the dog rather the dog owner.

Makes me miss my Brownie. Such a sweet sweet girl. I saw a dog that reminded me of her. sniff sniff

Are you sure that wasn't Jake?

For all you pit owners...I envy you. I've always wanted a pitbull, but living in the city in an apartment...it just seemed cruel to get one. When we finally got a house in the country with lots of land...it was too late. In Ontario the breed is banned. There is only 2 ways I could ever own one. 1) I move 2) I find one and call it a boxer/lab cross( would prolly never work)

I don't know.... I have a pretty nice lab X! It's funny because we were pretty worried about getting our homeowners policy written, as the adjuster came to our house personally to check it out.

Mr.Deacons laid right down and rolled over for belly rubs and tail thumping and the insurance man said... "So, he's a lab X... right?"

My daughter has 3 pit bulls and they are very nice dogs, they will soon being moving with her to her boyfriend's where they will have large area to run we keep them on chain or leash. I agree it is the owner's fault whenever dog misbehaves or causes a problem. Right now I have newest Chihuahua being the biggest problem yapping becaue I had to bring the Rottweiler in he broke his chain and was in yard just standing there. I have to go to work later and there is no one else here so he will have to stay inside till we can get another cable for him. The Rott is looking at the yapping Chi like what is your problem.

I have 2 dogs that are half Pit Bull and 2 purebreds. They are all very friendly, sweet dogs. The biggest one, Jade, a rotti/pitty is the friendliest of all. I trust her around anyone, including children.

Never seen that video before! Thanks for sharing!!

I used to own a pittie and he was a big BABY!!!!.....his favorite toy was a 13'' spare tire he used to toss around his neck and play with!

I currently own a pittie/bull mastiff and he's a big baby too!....people are scared when they first look at him until they meet him. I have one of my boarders offering me money for Beefy but I keep sayin NO....No amount of money will take him from me....he's my big sucky baby! Loves to put his head between your legs when your standing in the barn....LOL

I loved the video

Thanks for sharing I had not seen it, either.
I love the bully breeds. I have never had a pit but I do have Olde English Bulldogges and 2 AKC English Bulldogs. I have always said, it's not the dogs, I have a toy poodle, a whole 5 pounds, that will eat you up if she doesn't know you. I think it's becasue we pampered her so much and now she is just a little butt. The Bully people will have to fight the negativity of people that just don't know.
Below are some of my bully kids.

Here's my girl Gracie...

Here's my other girl Fiona...

Here's Sadie...

i love it! I have a pit mix, and it took a lot of persuasion to even get my husband to approve, but now its really funny because my husband has become a HUGE pit bull fan and tries to educate people every chance he gets! needless to say...i LOVE that!

Pits have such a bad rep, but its not the dogs...its the people, and if people really want an aggressive, big, mean dog then they will make one...be it common US breeds, like rotties, dobies, mastiffs, presa canarios, to the foreign breeds like a fila brasilerio. Any dog of size has the potential to be deadly, its just that humans have chose to pick on one breed very heavily.

I have 4 pits and corgi! They all get along and I love my boys! It is all the bad owners that make a bad dog and I don't think it's fair they are so stereo typed!
