senior dog rescues?

Hi does any one know of rescues that take in senior dogs? Several years ago I took in a redbone and a greatdane lab mix in hopes of finding them good homes. Well finding homes for a fence jumper and a large black dog has been harder than I thought and so here we are and now and they are 9 years old. Anyways our neighbors just got two huskys that howl and now our guys are howling and the other neighbors are really complaining which I can understand as they are also waking me up. I have to find some where for these two girls to retire and live the good life finally. Any suggestions and or rescues ? I would drive or fly them if I have to I just want a good situation for them.

I know a lot of rescues that will put adds up on petfinder.com ( and other sites ) as a courtesy posting. That way, you don't have to put your older dogs through the stress of being kenneled at a rescue.

Another option is to put up signs at your local vet, feed store or doggie daycare/boarding facility! I used to work at one and we placed a LOT of older dogs!
