Puppy Pics!

The puppies are just about 4 weeks old now. Ruby is outdoors with them most of the time...I let her in a little in the day but not much and she is out all night with them. She doesn't spend as much time with them anymore. So yesterday I thought I would put out a little puppy food and see what they would do. I first mixed some dry puppy food with some canned food. They pigged right out!

So I put out some straight dry food. They ate all of that too!

I didn't expect puppies this young to take to food they way they did. Here are some dinner time photos.

It is really really a good thing you are too far away from me - there are at least 4 in there that I just adore... They are sure healthy and happy looking little guys and gals - give mom a milk bone for the great job she is doing...

Ruby (mom) is a Rhodesian Ridgeback x Lab. Dad was a Border Collie cross that was dumped off at our house.

Anyone know the number for a dog shipper?

They are doing great. Ruby has been an excellent mom. She is very protective of them with Loki. She won't let him within 30 feet of them. If we are outside, then she doesn't bother Loki.

Cute... I love the little runt, the two dark brown ones, and the GSD looking one... But if they show up on my doorstep, hubby will NOT be pleased with you - and neither will my other three dogs...
