Labor has begun...someone put the pot on

It's true what they say about a watched pot never boils.

Latte was whining so I put her outside to go potty. She gets outside the door and gives me this strange look like "why did you put me outside?" I said OK must be she didn't have to go potty. I wish they could talk and say YO I"M IN LABOR!! She comes back in and lays down under my desk. I didn't think anything of it and went back to ready HT threads. Then I smell it. Birthing fluid. I look down and there she is cleaning a little black puppy. So I grabbed a piece of paper and mark the time. YEPEE!!! A baby boy! Then the waiting game begins. 15 minutes go by no puppy. No biggie as I know it can be a span between puppies. An hour goes by. Now I'm starting to worry. An hour and a half and still no puppy. She won't let me leave. Every time I get up to go into another room she comes looking for me. No contractions either So I go to a web site I have saved to look up problem deliveries. Nothing there telling me what to do. So I decided I'd come here and see if anyone here knew if I should be worried. Just as I'm preparing to post this out pops baby number 2. Exactly 2 hours after the first puppy was born. It's a girl Black like her brother. I can feel another puppy in the birth canal. Looks like this could be an all niter. Someone put a pot on to boil.

Hang in there my last dog (Great Dane) had 16 puppies over a span of 13 hours. Just stay with her. That's what she wants.

Hi everyone! We had a major storm blow through around 8:30 last night. Lightning struck and took out my phone service. I just got it back. I'm so glad I didn't have an emergency.

Latte has three adorable puppies. 2 boys and a girl. They all are black Toy Poodle pups. (there was a question as to who might be the daddy)

Now for names.....got any ideas? They might stay black or they might turn silver. Time will tell. I'll try and get pics to you soon. Mom is being very protective. I can't get her to leave the box to eat or go potty. I call her out and she instantly dives back into the box. I want to change her bedding.

Ohh! How exciting! I'm horrible at names for any animal, and they kind of come as an epiphany to me.. But if I think of anything, I'll let ya know!

Aw, so cute!

You definitely need to call one of them Curly!!

If they stay black, Espresso or Kafei after their mom

If they are silver, Fogdin (sounds like "fogged in") Thunder, Storm

Sorry paige my mistake. I took them to get their tails docked. Um it appears she grew something cause I have 3 boys. I had to take a razing. Was told I need to go back to health class. I said no I need glasses.

Paco is cute!

Latte is a chocolate toy weighing 9 lbs.

Latte will do. You can just send her my way as soon as the puppies are weaned. Paco is only ten pounds so they will make a good match.
