Innocent Aussies

Don't these two just look so innocent. This was right after Callie dug out one corner of the flowerbed and Emmie dug a big hole in the yard.

Emmie is thinking "Should I HERD these????"

I got out the tunnel to entertain them. Missed a good picture where they both got stuck in the middle trying to go thru at the same time!!! Silly Aussies!

They are cute!

My GR digs and has taught the puppies to dig as well. My yard is starting to look like a graveyard waiting for inhabitants!

Love the pictures - and the "It wasn't us - had to have been a stray" look!

Emmie is blaming everything on the stray cat that has started to inhabit the barn at night. Callie loves it, cuddles with it. Emmie has never seen a cat upclose. She snaps at her when I turn my back. The cat looks "oh so sweet" and when I turn my back again, she slaps her silly around the barn and then goes back to the innocent look, while Emmie is there looking like "what the heck???" ... One of those "had to be there " times but sure was funny. Emmie is much more polite to the kitty now.

Here's me and Emmie at her first horse show.. She was hyper at first and got really hot, but was very good for her first show. We found a creek for her to cool off in so she enjoyed that.

You have two beautiful Aussies!

Callie was a puppy when you got her wasn't she? She sure has grown up!

They look like a blast to be with!

Callie (the blue merle, Calicocalgirl) was a puppy 10 yrs ago when I got her ..lol
Emmie (black tri, Emma Lil Cowgirl) is the puppy I got last year.
And ... Yes she has grown.. ALOT!! she is now bigger than Callie. Callie weighs about 50 lbs, my guess is Emmie is about 55lbs and now slightly taller. She is a solid lil fireball!!

Must be Callie has some vision? Didn't you post a while back that she's going blind

They are both beautiful dogs.

Callie has congential heart disease.. not sure her vision is as good as it used to be but for the most part that has (knock on wood) been ok. She is on furosemide, another heart med we just recently started and Proin for bladder control. Basically maintenance meds for her heart disease for the rest of her life. But she is well worth it.

Emmie starts 7 weeks of advanced puppy classes next week . We are excited... it's on a sheep farm.. should be interesting...
