Update W/ Pic!!

Ok, so here is the first update. I went to the pound today to see what her status is. She is on a stray hold for 5 days while they attempt to contact her owner...she is microchipped, but the chip goes back to the store she was purchased from and the owner never registered it to them after they bought her....the store is no longer in business.....her yucky ears have been cleaned and treated, she has worms and is being dewormed, she is on an antibiotic for the ears. I placed an adooption deposit on her. If no one claims her by the time her hold is up on Tuesday, they will do further testing on her and examine her to determine if she is adoptabe or not.....if so, she will be spayed, vaccinated, licensed, tattooed, and I can pick her up on Wednsday....But, she must make it through there examination first.....

So here are 2 pics of the inmate, she actually seemed happy to see me!!

You surely have enough love to go around - it doesn't sound like he will need much - just a good, caring, loving home. And you've got that and more!

OMG she looks like a big goofy love bug! I'm sure she'll pass their "adoptability" test and be home with you next week

She's adorable. I'm a clean freak too. It is a lot of work, and I often wonder why I subject myself to having so many dogs. Taking in rescues with health issues and many other things. Then, when all the work is done and I have them laying by my feet or in my lap with happy sighs. Or I see my girls tucked safely in bed with their dogs next to them.... Or when they are all so happy to see me even if I've only been gone long enough to carry out the trash. I remember why I do what I do. That dog found you and needed you, I'm glad you listened to her.

If you don't feel like she will work out when you get her home, you can always find her a good home. That's much better than the fate she would have had. I know what you mean when you say it's hard to go in the shelter and not be able to save them all. But you are saving one of them, and that is a good thing!!

Poor little inmate! She's a cutie, Kanoo! Do you know approximately how old she is?

She looks to be young....maybe a year and a half or so.....so, if she comes home to me that will be basically 3 puppies! She doesn't know much, and is VERY playful....she does the Boxer spin......maybe I can get her and Clara spinning in opposite directions at the same time!!

Kanoo, personally I don't think I qould be able to handle 5 dogs so good on you!... you are doing the right thing. You can tell that she already likes and is happy to see you.

Hopefully she is adoptable and healthy, and she gets along with your other puppies.

Looks like one of those happy go lucky dogs, and Im sure youll enjoy her just like your other pups.

Oh My Gosh, she is beautiful. She looks like a big love bug. I find Boxers to be extremely loving and loyal. Can't wait to see pictures of her in her new home.
