dogs vs human.....

I had a litte accident last night when I was walking my dogs.....

My Doberman and my Rottweiler X were chasing each other and apparently not watching where they were going and they hit me from behind! My legs went right out from under me and I went down like a sack of potatos onto our tar driveway. Luckily I caught myself so I didn't hit my head on the tar but I hit my elbows and my hip pretty hard.........then the dogs come running over to me all excited because I'm on the ground..like I decided to lay on the ground to play with them!!!!! I was pi$$ed off and told them the walk was over!!

Today I'm a little sore.

Ugh! Hope your ok

I feel your pain...
I have a male two year old fawn boxer and a female year and a half old tri colored 13" beagle (both are happily fixed) the beagle knows she can fit in places the boxer can't so when they really get going she will run under the coffee table and the boxer ends up flying head first into it...

...what pushes my buttons is when the beagle runs between my legs and the boxer plows into me full speed!

Oh, ouch! I'm so glad you didn't hit your head, although I'm sure you are still going to be pretty sore for a while. Ah, the joys of big dogs, huh. We had a Doberman and a Great Dane when I was in high school, and when they got to rough-housing, you'd better stay out of the way! They'd knock you down and not think twice. You can't help but love them anyway, though.

I know! My doberman thinks he can go between my legs...and he can't...he's so tall. A couple times he tried running between my legs when I was going down the steps...now that's dangerous...I think I should start wearing a helmet when I walk these dog....geez!

Yeah, I've been there many times! Koda (my Dane pup) takes me out all the time. He's also done it to my boss several times.

My hubby suffered a goat attack like that a month ago. Abby chased the goats into the barn and when I told her wrong barn she chased them back out again. Poor hubby was in the way and one of the goats plowed into him at full speed from behind knocking him down. It took him several minutes for the pain to subside before he could get up Then Abby came over to him showering him with kisses.

Glad you didn't brake any bones.

Sounds like these doggys don't have much respect for their owners!

OUCH! I am sorry you got hurt. My Shepherd has grounded me several times and not only is it shocking to get taken down from behind, but you get all skinned up to boot! NOT fun! Hope you're feeling better.....

Ouch! That had to hurt!

Sometimes they get playing and just do not watch where they are going...my Lab ran smack into an open car door the other day. I'm afraid he got the worse end of that collision!
