Jessie

This is my dog, Jessie. I bought her almost two years ago as a 5 week old puppy. She's a English Mastiff/Rotti mix, she came from a lady who breeds both breeds, and she had a 'opps' litter from two of her good dogs. So she gave the litter up. She's my first dog that I can call 'mine'. I've done all her training, which is just basic obedeince, but I've been thinking of doing protection training with her to..
So here's my little accident,

First day home, next to my older yorki-poo Roxann (R.I.P) who was about 10 lbs. We brought Jessie home at 5 weeks weighing 13lbs.

Playing in the grass a few weeks later

Graduating her first level of obedience training, top of her class.

Her first winter

And then now, I'm pretty sure she's about 115lbs, atleast, that's what people keep telling me. I wish she would have gotten taller, and bigger, but hey, she's my baby no matter what size she is!

Welcome to HT. What a happy gal your Jessie is. I don't think you need to worry about training her for protection. Her size alone is all the protection you need.

She is a very pretty girl. Looks like she got her coloring from the mastiff but a lot of her body type looks rottie to me. I also have a Jessie that is full rotti and she is nothing but a big love bug. I love both the breeds your baby is!

shes adorable, but im curious as to why she was sold at only 5 weeks? does this person sell all their puppies at that age? or were they just trying to get rid of the oops litter as quickly as possible?
either way its much too young. i wish for all the best and that she grows to be a healthy, balanced dog and it doesnt affect her.

Thanks everybody! She's my baby, I absolutly love her to death. :]
justine604 - I think she just wanted/needed them gone as soon as possible. She did come with some 'mother issues'. She didn't really know how to play with other puppies/dogs, because she was also given to me so young. And she likes to stick her face in your face with a toy in her mouth (I heard that was something puppies with do if taken to early) But that's about it. Oh! And she has her giant pink blanket she carries around the house and sucks on.. But all in all, she grew up great and is very healthy according to our vet. vbmenu_register("postmenu_1757345", true);
