Very feminine head, maybe a bit thick through the throatlatch though. Decent shoulder angle and back length. Nice rear end, should muscle up well. Although she isnt square, she appears to be beind the knee as well as tied in under the knee in front, and post-legged in the back.

Her hocks look a little straight and I agree she seems over at the knee. I'd also like to see a little more bone for that body but overall she's a very pretty girl. I love that pretty qh head.

I think she is very pretty. She should be just fine for what you are going to do with her. I really don't think she is over at the knees just the way she is standing. Be sure you don't do to much with her to soon.

somehow missed this earlier

but i am NOT the one who started her. this horse was given to me and already had all this training. i am not going to canter her much at all under saddle. i will continue to train her to lunge and she will just canter then. cause i understand that it can cause many issues. me personally i would have waited still another year to start her but seeings she has been started im going to introduce small things and do light riding.

First off, she is a very pretty colored filly with a kind eye and a beautiful head to boot. For me she is a tad to lite in the rear end verses the shoulder, but you know what she is still growing. This is not a training area so that should be left to another thread. She should be able to do what you would like her to do. SHe looks to be a very good mover, but would need a video to tell for sure.

All in all you really have a nice filly and she should make an awesome built mare at maturity. Congrats on her and keep doing what you are doing within moderation.

I am confused.

Confirmationally.....Fairly nice looking inmature 2 yr.old. Nice head (says mare), alert eyes and ears, a bit thick through the throatlatch but I believe a growth thing. Nice neck that tie's in a bit high but very suitable for English disciplines. Appears a bit mutton withered, but again could be growth. Good back length with a nice deep heartgirth and good underline. Shows a nice angle to the shoulder, lots of range there. I find her behind the knee, with extremely thin bone for her height and current work conditions. Seeing thickening of the suspensory and fetlock tendons already. Very long pasterns that are very upright. Very light hip, appearance of a goose rump with a low croup set. A bit open, but straight stifle which may make loping a bit post legged of sort until maturity. Very upright hocks, again light bone. Appears to have a bit better angle to her rear pasterns however.

Confirmationally, fairly sound if left to grow and fill out a bit more. Biggest concerns will be her light bone holding up to rigors of jumping, but she should make a decent English Pleasure of Flat Work horse. Not seeing Western at all, but just a personnal opinion here.
