Missy -- 14YO Paint Mare

Registered Name: Miss Achievement
Barn name: Missy
Breed: Paint Horse
Age: 14, turns 15 on May 9th
Gender: Mare
Height: 15hh
Pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/miss+achievement

Horse's current job and future intended uses:
First and foremost Missy is my trail buddy -- it's what she's good at. Last season she was a solid 3D barrel horse, but I don't do that much with her anymore, I never got the impression she enjoyed it all that much. I do still take her to the occasional gymkhana.

For the Future:
If we are able to find a stallion that we like, Missy will be bred in the next few months. Other then that, she will continue to be used for leisurely trail riding and the occasional gymkhana, giving way to her retirement years. She will never be sold.

Additional Information:
The pictures aren't that great.. she kept trying to follow me around. She also still has semi winter woolies. Hope they are good enough to get a bit of critique out of them. Rip her apart, I can handle it.

1. Be honest but friendly.
All horses have flaws -- you can certainly point them out. BUT, do not say things in a way that could be construed as rude or overly negative.
Keep all comments focused on the horse. Do not say anything critical about the owner.

2. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
Just like how all horses have flaws, they all have good points. If you have something negative to say, be sure to also include a positive comment.
Keep things friendly -- give your comments the way you would if a good friend asked you for your opinion.

3. If you don't have anything conformation-related to say, please PM the horse's owner instead of replying in here.
People posting in this area are looking for conformation-related responses. Even if you're not well versed in conformation, please don't be shy about trying to critique the horse or ask questions about his/her conformation. But, since this is the conformation clinic, please make sure your response does pertain to conformation! Comments such as "he sure is pretty!" should be made via PM if you aren't also commenting on the horse's conformation.

4. People WILL say things you disagree with.
Keep your comments focused on your own ideas, and not reactions to other people's posts.
If you think you'll be bothered by seeing comments that you think are "wrong" - then don't visit this forum!!!
It is not your job to convince everyone that your opinion is correct. Say what you believe and let others come to their own conclusions.

I am such a sucker for overos! Overall I think she is a very nice looking horse. In the 1st pic her head:neck ratio look a little off. But it might just be the angle of the camera. She has a very nice topline and hip. As well as a wide chest and clean, straight legs. She also has a very sweet look about her.

First of all she is my all time favorite color of horses. Kinda loud Bay overo with a black mane and tail! her front legs look pretty good to me, she doesn't seem to toe in/out. Her back legs are too hard to tell because she's got her leg cocked up. She also appears to have a nice head (and a kinda chunky belly). Overall she seems really nice

Her shoulder's a little steep, and her back is a little long, but I don't see anything that screams "don't ride" at me. On closer inspection, her neck seems a little short, but that might be the picture angle. I love her feet! I'm a sucker for QHs/Paints with big feet.
