Two Year Old QH Gelding

Breed - Quarter Horse

Age - Two

Height - 14.2

Gender - Gelding

Horse's current job - In training

Future intended uses - Possibly barrels, definitely cattle work and trail riding

Anything else you think our members should know about the horse - Cody was starved and his growth was stunted as a weanling.

The only major fault I see is that his neck is ewe'd and short, and his shoulder could slope more. I would like to see more muscling behind, but that will come with age. He has a nice, kind eye, and should make a nice all-arounder one day!

I love his chest. I think he is nicely balanced and could possibly do barrels, I think he will work if not send him here!!!

That is definitely not an option! Cody will be living IN my house before he ever gets sold. He is my baby!

I didn't have a recent picture of Cody's behind and that one was taken when he was about a year and a half. So it's much larger now.

In my opinion he looks like a nice boy, good height, nice eye, he looks peaceful. I agree with the muscling but he is only 2 and you mention these pictures are not recent. I have ot agree slightly with the neck thing, although for me it doesn't bother me. I see a fault with his knees, he looks to go in, or back, at the knees. I am not sure if that is the way he was standing in the pictures, but might be something to keep an eye on as he furthurs his training and starts working after his training days.

Just a clarification: The only pic that isn't recent is the butt shot.

I like the look of his eye and with his muscling IMO shows to be a potenial power house. He's definetly a keeper.

Just out of curiosity...what's he's story? The note regarding him being starved got me wondering. Is he a rescue?
