Wow, what a beautiful boy! The only maybe) flaw I can see is his right front toes out a little, but he could be standing a certain way too... I think overall, he just flows together beautifully.

He certainly does have a "Look At Me" look about him doesn't he?

His toes look a little long in the picture with the red tub, if the farrier is trimming him that way, I might look at changing farriers. He does look toed out and clubby almost on the right front.

I really like his expression - looks like you have a real winner!

First off I really like his markings.. but I like flashy!

Oh and welcome to the forum!

The one thing that sticks out on your boy to me is his neck.. very short and thick..that would make it hard to flex and bend for him..
the other thig is his head.. it is a bit common.. very clean though nice flat forhead and wide set eyes.. he has the head of a mustang so I guess I really can't fault him on that can I?

I am not convinced that his front right leg is actually toed out.. I think it might be the way he is standing.. he might be a tad wide in the hind.. but he has good clean legs. He has a good short cannon and considerable bone in his leg..

Nice angle to his shoulder.. pastern may be a tad steep..but not bad.
he has a nice short back.. and a longer underline..

Over all I would consider this horse for trail riding or mabye as a gymkhana horse.. I am curious though.. what are you doing with him?

To me he looks like he is base wide in the rear. He does have a short thick neck.

All in all I think he looks like he would make a really nice trail horse. Love his markings.

Holy short neck on this fella, he's a little common headed too. I like him from the shoulders back, he's got one foot that's a little wonky but I can excuse that. Other than that super short neck, not bad.

Has anyone really studied that first picture? If you look at his hind foot that is completely visable, it looks like he stands on it completely crooked :S? It looks like either your farrier cuts down the outside too far or he wears it oddly...that really stumbles me...anyone elses opinion on this please?

Wow.. good eye I missed that.. My guess is that he is trimmed incorrectly based on the fact the the coronet line is not level to the ground. If he was trimmed proplerly ands just turned at the ankle it would still be level..

spanish mustang cross

Just curious? I have an Spanish Mustang and Spanish Mustang cross, do you know what the breeding on this guy is???

The short neck is very typical of the Spanish Mustang breed, probably where he got it from. Though, I think it is even a little shorter than the average SM neck. LOL.

I don't like doing confo from pictures, it can be all messed up by angle, how they are standing. I've seen some horses that look terrible in pictures look alot better and more sound in person.
