Meet Kiana!

I would like to introduce our new little girl Kiana(Moon Goddess in Hawaiian).
She is a 3 month old Somali(long haired Abyssinian)
We just got her yesterday from Sooke on Vancouver Island.
I didn't know it when I first contacted the breeder, but I learned that she and I used to ride at the same Hunter/Jumper stable together years ago.

, but she looks an AWFUL lot like my barn kitty, Honey

! I don't think that's a bad thing, because my Honey cat IS really sweet (sweet honey - imagine that

), but kind of ironic, and I guess just goes to show how little I know of cat breeding

Funny how you knew the breeder, I have those "it's a small world" things happen to me all the time, it's kind of weird actually

Oh MY! I never cease to wonder at the incredibly beautiful colourings of Siamese cats! She's STUNNING! What do you call that colour? It looks like she has some tabby striping on her...?
