Thanks for filling me in on cat colostrum. and hope they are making it.
I rescued a kitten that was about 2 weeks old. people that had them were feeding meatballs and pasta. Need less to say I let them know what I felt about that. brought the little tyke home and fed him baby food meat.
lived, 12 years his name was Gizmo.

OMG I must have subconciously named him tadpole! LOL!! Yeah we've got a MILLION of them around here too.

SACRED--looks to me like there may have been some maine coon in there somewhere....it's hard to tell when you don't know the parents, but I have seen both dogs and cats from a litter of 2 parents look different....you know?

They are gorgeous though!

Update!!

Here they are at 4 weeks old! (Actually they are almost 5 weeks old, this Tuesday) but these were taken last week!) They are doing great!!! All 4 are thriving and starting to (finally!) eat on their own! They were very smart kitties, only took them literally one day to litter-box train (woo-hoo!) and although it's taking a little time (and a TON of papertowels and floor cleaner) for them to get the hang of eating, they are starting to get the hang of it. They are still making a total DISASTER, but hopefully soon they will manage to eat OUT of the bowl instead of walk IN it and fling it everywhere!

Enjoy the photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Socks and Tadpole

Yes, they all lined up like that on THEIR OWN! Such smart photogenic babies!! This was definately a 'thank goodness I had the camera' moment!

LOL well that pic was taken PRE-mid-life-crisis! LOL

Yeah I know they are already started to get coordinated enough to jump and bounce around.....

As far as who gets to stay it really depends on their personalities and how they mesh with my other children here. I'd really like to keep Frisbee since it was such a slim slim chance that he would survivie. 5 of his 9 lives are gone and I'd love to keep him to make sure the other 4 stay safe! LOL

We'll see. I need another animal like I need a hole in the head, but I'd like to keep one of them at least. Possibly 2....but like i said it depends on the other 4-legged creatures in my home. last thing I want to do is disrupt the peace in my household!!

Wow, that's a crew. Love the canned food shots. Congrats for getting them along this far - they look great! There's something really rewarding about bottle baby cats; I have one here that used up a whole bunch of those lives too, but man, I wouldn't trade him for anything. He's just turned into the coolest cat ever.

Man, I miss kittens, I so need a kitten fix.

Those are great pictures. I remeber always wearing pants around our little rescues because they would see us coming, think it was dinner and launch at us to climb up and be first. It was a great time full of laughs.

Oh ya, I remember those days. I have so many scars on my legs. Little holes where they grabbed on and long lines, where they didnt quite make it. LOL
