That's a Giant Rabbit--they are a breed--check this out:

As for the furry presents--I prefer them dead so I don't have to catch them myself, as I do not have the speed anymore. The big furry hamster might have been a gopher or a packrat?

Actually if your cat is bringing you his kills (even partially-nibbled ones) they should not be considered presents. Your cat does this because he sees you as an incompetent hunter and he is providing your dinner for you.

Lu has never brought me anything except a dead wasp (no idea how she managed that one!) but now that she gets plenty of table scraps she seems to understand that yes, I can feed myself.

Hehehe, "your kitty wants steak."

My boarder and her mom just left and I get a call from their cell. "Just thought I'd let you know Precious is bringing home you something again". PRECIOUS!!!!!. I thought it was Lucy, she's the huntress. Apperently he tried to jump it threw the ripped screen in the door and was now waiting for me to open the patio door. I saw him there but nothing was in his mouth.....RIGHT . Once again he droped it under the diner table and again it's some sort of big mouse. Stupid thing was still warm when I picked it up to throw outside
