Please keep Tiger in your prayers

Well Tiger has hit a rough spot with his IBD. We have been to the Vet 3x in the past week. He has stopped eating and what he does eat, he throws it right back up. If the new meds he is on doesn't help, we will have to put him to sleep. He is at 8 pounds, that is half his previous body weight. I am giving him IV fluids every other day. The hard part is , he doesn't look sick. He has very long hair, so you can't tell how little he weighs until you pick him up. Please pray for Tiger and for me, to do the right thing when the time comes. I don't want him to suffer because I can't let go. We are giving him til Monday to snap out of it.

Prayers for both you and Tiger. Letting go is so hard. I pray that he makes a full recovery for years more of not letting go but instead hugging tightly.

Many hugs and prayers going out to you.. I know the feeling, I just lost my kitty to cancer a little over a month ago...

Its hard to make that descision, but you know you are making the right one when you see that they are suffering..

Good luck to you and Tiger.. I hope he snaps out of it...

I'm really sorry to hear that.
It's never easy to lose a pet, no matter what kind.

Lots of well wishes heading your way.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and hugs. We have gotten the vomiting undercontrol, but we feed him very small amounts every hour. He is getting the IV fluids every other day and all this has seemed to perk him up a little. I know this is just a temp fix, but I will take it for now. He still have very bad diarhea, but I don't think that will change. I think we are getting a little extra time to say goodbye. Hubby tells him that he will see all his old friends when he gets to heaven and I keep tellin him I love him and will miss him terribly. He is loving the extra attention and all the things he is now able to get away with. I may even put him on a leash and take him outside. He has always been a house cat with us , so I know he hasn't been out in over 6 years. He may like that. Hubby is afraid he will catch something, but he has all his shots, so I don't think it will hurt anything. And I feel like that is something special I can do for Tiger.
