Sevin on cats

I have dusted goats and sheep with powdered Sevin for lice.........is it safe to use on cats for fleas?

I know people that use it on dogs.. I would be cautious about cats, they are usually more sensitive to chemicals.

Yes, they tend to want to lick anything off.

DO NOT use this on your dog or cat. It can kill them. I'm a vet tech and have seen it happen.

yes, that is why I was asking if anyone had experience with Sevin before I ran to the store ..........turns out, it is ok to use on cats or dogs, according to package. But, I will be very watchful after using it.

I have used it in my house on the floor, I have 4 cats in the house and 1 is 17 years old, I just don't put it right on them
