Bladder Infections

My dang kitty has a bladder infection again. Second one in less than a year. We figured something was wrong yesterday when he decided to pee on the dog's bed. Kitty is a male, neutered bengal, a little over 1 year old. I've been feeding him Innova dry and he always has access to fresh water. I was feeding him a wet food called Honest Kitchen (dehydrated raw food) but stopped because its a little labor intensive. I may start again though because it uses water, obviously. Anyone have any ideas what else I could do to prevent another one?

Try distilled water. We've got well water and it wreaks havoc on my cat's bladders. All of them now drink distilled only and we've not had any infections in over a year. Before that we were getting them pretty often.

Male cats tend to develop frequent UTI's and stones due to their biological makeup. My vet taught me to use wet and dry food because only dry food has a high ash content which causes urinary problems. He also said that you could buy those "Drinkwell Cat Fountains" that encourage more water consumption. They cost about $30. Also use dry food that maintains urinary tract health, purina makes a good one.
