Meet my orphans: Alli and Axle!

The barn cat where I board at had four kittens a few weeks ago. She got scared of everyone and moved three of the four kittens into an old milking parlor. Well, about a week went by and one of the BM's heard tiny cries. She found the other three kittens starving! She took them to her niece who had the other one that was left behind.

I offered to take two of the babies.

Here are my two: Alli and Axle, they are about four weeks old now I think.

Axle:

Alli:

I have more pictures uploading but my dial up is slooow.

VickE, they're as cute as the dickens - and probably full it, too!

There sure are little cuties and looking good for orphans. Bless you for taking them in and caring for them, I am sure they certainly appreciate it.

Your Axle looks like my Mico. I will "warn" you Mico is full of himself. Once he hit about 7 weeks he has been on a HUGE rampage. He was an orphan too. I think it is something to do with being orange. Orange for pistol who knows. Good luck with your babies.

I think the only reason the babies were orphaned is because Mama couldn't get to where they were. They look like they were taken care of pretty well before we found them.

Axle is very FULL of himself! He is already a brat. Alli is a sweetheat.

Here are a few more pictures:

I swear Axle looks just like Mico, Here is a picture of Mico at 9 weeks.

It isn't the best picture of him but you can get the picture. He was sooo orange when I first found him now he has lightened up just a bit. He was not scared of a thing and now he attacks everything in sight. I think it is the color orange that makes them so wild. Orange kitties are so fiesty. Enjoy them and at least you have two so they can entertain each other. Mico only has me and Shianne and man oh man does he enjoy that. Attacks every part of us that moves.
