It's getting ready to rain AGAIN! Ahhhh I think she has shaved 10 yrs off my life this week. She is such a strange cat - she hangs out with the dogs, really prefers to be the only cat, hates to be held yet loves affection on her terms and when it is her idea and she climbs everything. There is no where in the house she hasn't tried to be and mostly has been successful. I never thought I'd miss having my counters, above my cabinets and the fridge cleared off by her goofy games, but I do.

encouraging words

Just thought I would tell you a story that happened to my cat... She was gone for 8 weeks I was sure she was gone for good.. Not only that I was sure that she had been hit by the swather and put down... I had even went to look at Kittens to keep our other cat company.. Then one night I heard her meow at the door and opened it and there was my cat... She ran into the house like nothing happened... SO there is hope that She will return... Don't give up...

Yes, keep looking and calling. I had one go missing for 3 months when we lived in Northern California...there is hope and I will continue to pray she finds her way home safe and sound.

Did you make the report with the police, and check all vets?
Many police depts have their own "shelters" and a short time limit for claiming pets!
Talk to the animal control officer.
Don't sell Jubi short, even house cats can be pretty darn tough! She will come home if she's able too, sooner or later. Be sure to check out all the possibilities. And get those flyers out!

I didn't call the police, I contacted the local Humane Society. The only vet in town (who I use for small animal) takes in the animals for the humane society so those 2 areas are covered. Neighborhood on watch, craigslist being watched for foundlings, we are still looking and calling each day and shelter people notified.

She is definitely a tough kitty, smart, very fast and in great shape. I just hope she is a safe kitty!

She very likely is on some little old lady's lap living the good life. Get those flyers out everywhere.

I know you must be worried sick. Those darn cats are sooo good at sneaking into our hearts!
You don't even realize you've noticed some of their habits, until they are gone. Just hold on to your faith. The waiting and wondering are pure hell! But the odds really are in her favor.
You both continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Still no Jubilee but we do continue to look and post info about her. The neighbors have been looking too. I have other cats as well and it changed who sleeps where and everyone's behavior. I guess the others never slept with me because Jubi said so - but now they want to but they dont sleep in the right spot. I toss and turn A LOT and Jubi knew just the right spot to be comfie and not in the way of my flailing limbs lol

It is soooo hard to not know if Jubi is safe or not. I have had 2 return and had 2 who never did. The soul deeply misses them when they are gone.

I am continuing to pray for comfort and pray you will find Jubi.

Hopefully, the others will learn the right spot to sleep, so that all of you can snuggle together and find a comfortable way to find gentle sleep for all.

I hope you do find her. She knows you've been a great loving home for her, and when her "vacation" is over she will come right back home realizing that the out doors isnt as fun as the indoor home you have for her.

For 3 days I went out of town and the night I left for Orlando our cat escape and we didnt even notice. The day we came back home we saw our little Prince sitting out side our door.

Cats are very smart and know were there homes are and what to eat and were to hide. Your cat is probobly hiding in a safe warm dry busch waiting for the best time to come home.

I sure hope she comes home soon and in good condition.....it takes a toll on your heart more when they disappear moreso, than if one gets killed in the street....at least there's evidence of what happened and closure can begin....."not knowing" though gives you absolutely no closure and it can takes years to get it off your mind. Thoughts could linger on where the kitty is...suchas, someone stated her being on an elderly lady's lap....which would be a great thought to ponder on....and WHEN she comes home, you can say to yourself "well, I guess the lady opened the door and she ran out to come home".

Hugs and prayers to you...I've been there (recently, in fact), and I know it's really, really hard.

Best-

My son was working last night and is 99% sure he saw her by the town movie theater which is about 3/4 of a mile from the house. He said she looked healthy but she's a very poofy kitty. She was too scared to come to him. Please pray that we still have a wee small chance. Getting all teary eyed thinking about it.

We are hanging up new signs right now.
