I'm sorry I'm late in posting this I didn't get home till way super late Anyways here is her story.

Impy is a 4 year old barn cat that is out of a home bred line of pschyo (sp?) cats. She was born here on the farm. She was very early and the only one that survived out of her litter My mom found her and left her where she was for 3 days in hopes that the mother cat would come and take her, she never did So now we have a house cat or so we thought it was going to be fun She was very tiny so her name became Impinela (small one), or Impy for short. Well the months past and she started fighting the BIG dog Well this went on for many months UNTIL the FIRST Nascar race of the season they were both playing very nice with eachother and it happened, the dog snaped. She took the cat in her mouth and shook her In the process of doing this she POPED HER EYE OUT!! And on top of that put a nice little hole in the roof of her mouth. Mom rushed her to the Emergancy Vet and she recieved stiches and was their for 3 days So now her name in Impinela Madeye Caudgen (Madeye from Harry Potter) and Caudgen was a knight during the crusades that they say his sword was larger than him and he always choose to fight the largest man possible.

Well that's all I can write for now, more to come before noon

Here is another picture of the kitty (still no kittens) I was trying to get her to lay on her back for a belly pic. lol

I know this is late again in response but major family problems poped up on valentines day and I haven't really been able to get back on here to post.

Well still no kittens, but she is filling in and milk is starting to drip, so they will be here in the next few days. I have to keep the rest of her story short due to being short of time now days. But here is goes, a few years after she was born she was hit by a car and no one knew for several days. We normaly seen her every day but it wasn't uncommon for her to "vanish" for a day or two. My mom found her under our old deck, that was basicaly falling off the house, weak with a broken leg. She lived in the house for a month while she recovered and now she walks with a limp (Gimpy) So now we have a cat who gets pregers 2-3 times a year and always has her kittens in the house.

We live on a farm so we like it when we have kittens because it cuts down on mice, rats, pigeons, possum (yes they kill them to), stray dogs (they chase them off the property). We don't have many cats only around 30 at any given time, and if we get to many, we give the friendly ones away to the neighbors and they become indoor kitties. They get milk straight from the cow 2 times everyday and get a 50 lbs. bag of cat food everyweek

I can't wait to see kitten.

You said you don't have many only 30 or so. How in the world do you vaccinate 30 cats for rabies. I'm sure with 30 cats there aren't ANY mice.

My dad is in charge of taking care of all the cats. He vacinates them and anything else he can think of (except nuter)

If the other kitties have access to the nesting site, I'd change that. The mother will not want you or anyone else bothering the newborn kittens.

A large box for the liquor store lined with a towel or old bath mat should suffice.

My mother's cat pulled her custom-made highly expensive curtains off the window and gave birth on them. We all said "Well, Mamakitty's just used up one of her nine lives!"

She's the only "house" cat, and is staying in her corner. Impy is weird and wants human help, if we aren't around and she wants us to hold them she will drag them out one by one until we pet them, sometimes they are only hours old Darn spolied little rat

I've been so busy with family doings that I've completely forgot to post that she had her kittens on the 20th I'm trying to get my computer to connect with photobucket so probably no pictures until tomarrow. She had 6 of the little buggers, a white one, a mother look-a-like and 4 orange ones! All are doing well and mother has recovered wonderfully.

She has!! Were trying to convince dad to spend the money to spay her, because we don't think she could survive another litter.

Check around different vets for spay prices, it's amazing how much they vary! If you can get a few, or several family members to chip in, the money may not be too hard to come up with.
It does get harder on all cats once they've had several litters. Another reason unspayed kitties don't live nearly as long!!
Way looking forward to those pics!!!!!
