Painted Cats?

Believe it or not people will pay big bucks to have their cat's coat painted. I wonder what the cats think.

Here is the link: http://ueba.net/hosted_pages/Painted-Cats-20070219

My favorite one is the American Flag.

Thanks, I was going to say that most of those look totally photoshopped.

And, to top it off, my cat would cut you to shreds if you tried to paint her.

I agree - some of those look a little tricky.... poor things do look kinda rediculus, probably look cuter without the paint!

No harm TBlover! Some of them looked pretty neat but I'm not sure I'd spend that kind of money on my cat. Not for a senseless 'paint' job.

That is creepy. I don't think I could ever put any of my cats through that without getting scratched big time...

Miss Kitty would probably go for it, silly little princess.

Disco Fuzzy would run screaming for the hills

I liked the zebra stripes though, that looked really neat! Even if it is photoshopped...

Now that's fun, I hadn't run across the snopes article yet . . . to be honest the Why Paint Cats book and calendar had circulated among my friends and no one realized it was a joke and I only recently found the Why Cats Paint, which I bought and knew for sure it was a joke, though it was a spoof of the other. Turns out I was wrong on both counts! The one I knew of first came second, and they were both jokes!

Wow....interesting.

Wonder if Motor would let me do that to him!!!

He'd probably just start biting the paintbrush and chasing it
