where are you kittens,He caught one!...update pics

Went to pay my neighbor for the hay and she asked if I knew of anyone that would be interested in any kittens. I told her I would take them.

My new girls. Now I have to tame them.

When I can get them so they don't dive under the couch every time I open the door I'll get better pics. I'm pleased that they only had a few accidents and are using the cat box. Boy can they dirty that fast!
They seem to have a heavy gut load of worms. I got some Piperazine-17 and put it in raw hamburg. The next day the poo was solid worms. I tried canned cat food but they weren't to interested in it.

They are on my enclosed porch for now.

I'm making progress with them. They come running out from under the couch when I call them but they still won't let me touch them. I have to go through the room when I put my dogs out to go potty. They are getting so they linger and let the dogs sniff them before diving under the couch. It's small progress but that's better than none I suppose.

My son is so happy. He caught one!

We are expecting very cold weather so he and I rigged up a cardboard house for the kittens to snuggle in to keep warm. Then he went one step further. He opened up the sofa bed so they would feel safe like they were in a den. Know see I never would have thought of that. He even went rummaging for some old clothes to put in the box. He came to me with some outgrown dress shirts. I told him to cut the buttons off. You'd think I gave him a reward for a job well done. Who'd ever guess he would get excited over a few buttons.
They must like this new roof over their new home. He caught one!

I love the pic with your son. He looks so happy (and yet trying not to groan at his mom taking a pic )

Hmm, you have kids, so you must not be completely clueless about men. But didn't you know?

Boy\Man + Destruction = HAPPINESS

??

(I am of course just teasing, but whenever it was time to start some new home improvement project, my BF was exteremly happy to do the tear-down part, but when it came to putting things back together . . . no interest whatsoever.)

I still have two that are hard cases. One I can't catch at all and if I'm lucky enough to she is all claws. She just refuses to interact with humans. So she's going to be a tuff nut to crack but I'm not giving up hope. She's the tiger in the middle. The black kitten is catfish kitty from another thread.

The other one has the prettiest gold color to her fur. I think a very pretty color that my camera just was not able to capture but she is also the sickliest. Her fur is ruff looking and she still has a pot belly. I can get her to show interest but she won't come close. Preferring to watch me from a far as seen in the photo.

And then there is these two. This one is the older kitten. She is also the friendliest. She attacks my broom, will lay down where I'm trying to sweep, will rub against my legs when I stand in front of the storm door and is an all around nuicense. I think catfish brought her out of her shell.

I saved this update for last. This is the kitten my son caught.
doesn't she look like a real lover. He thinks so.

What surprises me is none of them have names. Got any suggestions?

A year ago I told cascy that I took a wild cat into the house. I learned my lesson and confined them to just one room this time. hehe!

How do you tame a cat that is always hiding? I think she looks like Garfield in this pic.

Those are some cute cats!! I have a couple name suggestions. The older kitten that you said attacks your broom...I think she looks like a Cleopatra. And the one your son caught looks like a CuddleDud. Just suggestions... Another name suggestion for one of the others is, "Asia". Well, Good Luck in taming them!! And good for you in giving them a home!
