And I am just so happy about it I have to share!
My daycare provider found a brown tabby kitten on the edge of her yard on Monday, crying his little heart out. He's 7-8 weeks old and just a sweetheart; you can do anything with him and he just purrs away.

Of course the daycare kids fell instantly in love, but they have a baby on the way (any day now) and her husband said nope, not a good time for a kitten. So she has been trying for the past few days to find him a home.
Hubby says I am maxed out at two cats right now, so couldn't take him. (Actually, I really didn't want him, anyway - two cats is enough for me!) My dad told my mom no, one cat is enough at their house.
Today was the day they were going to take him to the humane society. This morning I thought of my friend, who was going to get a male kitten to keep her neutered male company, and called her up. She was more than happy to take him, and her 19 year old daughter was thrilled!
So, off to the farm goes kitty to live in the lap of luxury in her horse barn. Yay for him!
