| R.I.P Popeye I had to put my one of my barn cats down today, look like she expelled her uterus. I called the vet and they wanted $52 NOW, ( my vet decided after 3 years that they will no longer except payments) I didn't have it NOW. and she needed to be put down NOW, so my son took her out back, did it, then buried her  The law says you aren't supposed to do this yourself, you can't let the suffer but the vets will not work with you. Animal control needs to offer this as a free service or a pay on time service to the low income. We have the right to own animals, we should also have opportunity to provide medical care at a discount. Now that I'm done !@#$ing---R.I.P Popeye, I'm going to miss you |

| Awww Im so sorry but feel good you did the right thing....personally....i wont put anything down...I will only shoot....be mad at me if you may but i have seen too many horses and other animals suffer from injection

| Aww, I'm sorry not all vets are like that though, don't group them all together. When the day finally came I had to put my old beloved dog down after a year long battle with cancer my vet and his staff were amazing. I called bawling my eyes out when the opened and they had me bring him in, they gave us a big private room and left us alone to let us say our goodbyes. They gave him a big fluffy bed to lay on on the floor and I sat there with him holding him while they took his pain away. They also took care of the cremation services and everything. I was never charged a dime.
