I pretty much have my dream horses. Cody is a 4 year old dun stud, about 15 hands tall. very nice horse. Just needs to have a little more speed..... then he'll be a very nice barrel horse!!!!

And then I have my other PERFECT horse.
Dasher is a 21 years old been used for barrels, poles, and team roping.
In perfect health. Sound. Loves water... runs like the wind. Dash For Cash bred. Been on the race track. She's not very sweet..... she's got a bit of a attitude!!! LOL
I love both my horses very much!

My dream horse isnt too tall, about 14.3 would do it. Sorrel and naturally has to have spots. He has to have a good worth ethic, easy to handle in the saddle and on the ground, and to top it off would be considered my bestest pal. He'd have a long, multi colored mane and eyes that would just melt your heart. He wouldnt have to be considered beautiful by everyone, just so long as he took my breath away right! One can dream cant they... oh wait, I dont have to! I guess I already have my dream horse right here.

My dream horse would be 50/50 black and white Paint/Halflinger cross mare with two blue eyes. She would be totaly bomb proof to everything on the trails and on the road, etc. About 14 to 15hh but no taller. No white around the eyes. And would let me dress her up in anthing for shows.. This dream mare would drive as well as any omish horse too.
*sigh* I've been looking for 7 years now, still no luck. Even tried to breed for it twice. So for now I can only dream.

Mine would be a leopard appy with a decent mane and tail.

Actually anything with a really nice long mane and tail would suffice. I've always picked horses with short manes and scruffy tails. I guess as long as their bodies look good, it doesn't matter, but one day I'd like to get a horse with a ground dragging tail and long flowing mane.

My dream horse is a cobby horse around 14 to 15 hands with a big butt to make mine look small. Color doesn't matter but I love the thick, long mane and tail.

While we're at it I thought I would post a picture of my childhood dream horse. I actually met (and almost bought) a horse just like this one, he had the personality and ride-ability to boot, and was well over 16 hands (my old requirement), but as a few of you may remember the story he was taken from me and that kind of soured the dream.

My dream horse would be a palomino saddlebred. It would be a dark palomino with tons of main and tail. It would also be perfectly trained to do trails, ride along the road, go in the pleasure ring, and be willing to play on barrels. I guess size doesn't really matter as long as it isn't too small. Also it would have perfect gaits and really know how to show off! I also agree there would be no spook, buck, rear, and just have a super willing attitude. The final part would be that it loved attention, being groomed, and loved on!

Alrighty, here would be mine:

15.3(ish) Bashkir Curly Stallion. Micro curl, but keeps mane and tail during the summer. Oh geeze, I can't really decide what color I like on them best, but probably black or palomino tobiano.
*Working on this one*

Very niced Saddleseat and halter Arab or Saddlebred mare. Of course, pinto with very nice breeding.
*Have her *

Or a VERY nice Saddlebred stallion with lots of chrome! Anything but chesnut!
*Ah, I already have this one *

I have already found my dream horse he is not a black friesian with flowing locks, but he is a wounded, lion-hearted rescue horse... this horse went through starvation, torture, and extreme abuse. He had a horrible trailer accident and now has a hole in his neck, and a couple pounds of flesh off his hind end. He went through all that before I rescued him. I have never seen a horse with as much spirit and bravery and soul as him... if you look into his eyes you can see a lion staring back at you He now basks in all his beautiful glory and magnificence and triumph. There will never be a horse like him. To me he is a million times as beautiful as a Friesian or gypsy horse Here he is, my lion horse...

I want a deep golden palomino QH, Hollywood Dun It, Shining Spark, and/or Topsail Whiz bred . I want a horse that I can ride and just THINK sliding stop and she'll do it. I got to ride a World Champion reining horse once...7 years ago, and it was amazing. I want a horse like that, start showing NRHA and NRCHA again and kick some BUTT!

I dreamt as a little girl of the black stallion, so for the rest of my life my dream horse was something all black not a spot of chrome. This horse would be mine and only mine and would not let anyone else ride him.

What I got instead was my "real" dream horse in Tia. Mine and only mine, will tolerate another rider but when out in the field she only comes to me and seldom lets anyone touch her. The girls that board here always think it's a big deal when she "lets" them touch her . Her only fault in her not making the cut was her colouring, chestnut no chorme BUT she did give me a beautiful filly that fits my idea of my ideal horse to a tee BLACK NO CHROME .
